Well done and thanks to everyone who took part in the Awards Day on 25 March 2012.
Shrewsbury Match Saturday 25th February Cancelled
Unfortunately Shrewsbury have had to cancel our U14 match scheduled for 12:00 noon Saturday 25th February
There is a North Wales tournament in Mold this Sunday (26th February). All Northop Hall Junior Hockey Club members welcome.
Mixed U11s – meet at Mold Alun School pitch at 10:00 (finish 1:00pm).
Boys U13 – meet at Mold Alun School pitch at 12:30pm (finish 3:30pm).
Girls U13 – meet at Mold Alun School pitch at 12:30pm (finish 3:30pm).
Games are 10 minutes each way.
Cost £1 per child.
The pitches at Hawarden and also Buckley have been closed due to ice. This means that todays game against Triton is cancelled. Sorry everyone.
Don’t forget, next week is the ASDA bag pack. We need your support to raise funds to keep the club going. Please let Lara Whistance know that you can come. It’s only a couple of hours and this helps us purchase items for training, pay for the pitches, allows us to put on social activities, and the awards evening at the end of the season.
Look at the newsletter to see how much it costs to keep the club going.
Unfortunately, due to pitch and weather conditions, training is cancelled tomorrow morning. PLEASE NOTE: the Beavers match is still scheduled to take place, but keep checking for updates.
Today’s match at Chester is cancelled due to poor weather.
We have taken the decision to cancel Junior training on Saturday 4th February because of the weather forecast. The forecast tomorrow is for freezing temperatures, and also some snow. Safety of children is our priority and therefore we have taken this decision early (Friday afternoon).
Tomorrows Beavers game is still on (at the moment). So for those of you that I have asked to play, please keep checking this website for the latest news.
A great evening was had by all on Sunday 22 January at Ten Pin Bowling in Chester. The winners were:
10 and under Eve Bowen
11 and 12s – Joe Ross
13 & overs – Adam Hawke-Jones
Well done to them and thanks to everyone for making it such a success.
Just a reminder that this Sunday is the bowling night. We are meeting at TenPin Chester at 5:30pm.
See you there.
Happy New Year everyone. I hope Santa brought you everything that you wanted.
Junior training resumes this Saturday 7th January 2012 at 10:00 am at Hawarden High School (weather permitting !!!)
See you there.
